Turning on Virtualisation
Turning on virtualisation in the BIOS will be needed when you are using certain software such as virtual box or vagrant.
To do this, you first need to head into your BIOS. Usually this is done by simply restarting your machine and hitting the button that is displayed on screen to enter into the bios configuration. You may need to fall back to a google search if needs be.
Once you are in, and assuming you are on an AMD machine, you need to look for the setting to change in order to enable virtualisation.
On my current machine, this setting is under advanced>CPU settings>SVM Mode and then switching that to enabled.
