DX3

Database

Daily backups are taken and stored in /var/www/vhosts/db/daily/[site]. If you want to restore the database from one of these then you should contact DX3 and they can do this for you.

DX3 have advised that they manually check that backups are being taken on a regular basis.

If you need to restore a backup then contact UKFast either by phone or using a support ticket. The backup will be restored but it won't replace the current live database. It will be restored into a new database named something like [original db name]_restore.

Full Site

The server files in /var/www/vhosts are backed up. Again, when these are restored they won't overwrite the existing files. These will be restored to something like [existing file name]_restore.
